Welcome to IdahoVetLaw.org, the official website of the Idaho Military Legal Alliance (IMLA), a nonprofit legal aid initiative operated as a program of the Idaho Law Foundation, Inc. By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this site.

2. Mission and Scope of Services

IMLA provides free legal information, referrals, and limited legal representation to veterans, service members, and their families residing in Idaho. Services are delivered through legal clinics, workshops, and partner organizations.

Use of this website does not guarantee legal representation or create an attorney-client relationship unless explicitly confirmed in writing by a qualified IMLA representative.

3. Attorney-Client Relationship Disclaimer

The information presented on IdahoVetLaw.org is for general informational purposes only and should not be considered legal advice.

  • No attorney-client relationship is formed by accessing the website, submitting a contact form, or using online intake tools.

  • A formal attorney-client relationship is only established through a signed written agreement with an IMLA attorney or authorized volunteer.

4. User Responsibilities

By using this site, you agree:

  • To provide accurate and truthful information if submitting inquiries, appointment requests, or legal intake forms.

  • Not to use the site for any unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent purpose.

IMLA provides civil legal assistance only. We do not represent clients in:

  • Criminal defense matters (felonies or misdemeanors)

  • Active litigation unless accepted into our case docket

  • Appeals unless explicitly agreed upon

  • Matters outside Idaho jurisdiction

We reserve the right to decline assistance based on eligibility, capacity, legal conflicts of interest, or funding restrictions.

6. Confidentiality and Security

While we strive to maintain the confidentiality of all communications, online submissions are not guaranteed to be secure. We encourage users not to submit sensitive or urgent legal details through unencrypted email or contact forms.

All legal inquiries submitted through the website are subject to IMLA’s confidentiality and intake review process.
